Severe Quad RudimentsProfessional-level address of PTS(D) conditions brought about through adverse contact with toxic, sociopathic personalities, abusers, and/or in cases when the source of spiritual turbulence is not readily apparent, and a person finds oneself experiencing "bad luck" or depression.
Directions: In Model Session, with or without a biofeedback device (E-meter), assess the following list for reads or answers (take up any reading questions and take up any volunteered answers*). Only assess questions given in bold print and with "___(checklist underlines)___" (this technique taken from the Ethics Repair list is appropriate to the Severe Quad Rudiments List and permits focus on the most likely items of interest, preventing an overly long period taken up exploring less common items). Only if a main question is taken up would you go on to check other flows.** Remember to check the original question after going through the remaining flows, to see if the person can think of anything else or if anything still reads on the meter.***
* the reason for this is found in the technical materials of Scientology - ARC breaks do not always read on the meter - the meter responds in proportion to the amount of ARC in the session, and while the auditor creates this ARC with a safe session, deeply embedded material may not respond, especially in the early stages before inter-personal trust is built between auditor and person
**example: In asking, "Have You Been Hurt?" the person responds affirmatively and goes on to tell about an incident of being injured. The question is asked again until there are no more answers. At this point the remaining flows associated with "being Hurt" are checked with the person for reads or answers, one at a time and then as a final action, the original question, "Have You Been Hurt?" is checked to see if the person can think of anything else or if anything still reads on the meter ***professional auditors should take note that this list is handled as a blend of "auditing by list" (to find areas that need to be taken up) and then "repetitive processing" of the area until the person is satisfied that there are no more answers to the question. It is not usually handled "earlier-similar to F/N" on the first time through, since there could be multiple situations close to present time and we are trying to get these straightened out first. After a good result has been achieved with this approach, one could then use this list to check for reading items and handle those that read "earlier-similar to F/N" (Floating Needle on the e-meter) 0. Have You Been Hurt? ___
